The Challenge

DanceOne is a PE-backed roll-up of dance competition companies operating across multiple locations nationwide. Like most roll-ups, the acquisitions brought customers — but they also brought a mess of disconnected technology.

Twelve different systems ran the business. Customer data lived in silos across Dance 360, Dance Bug, and Salesforce Loyalty Cloud, with no way to connect them. The same customer could have three different IDs depending on which system you looked at.

This wasn't just an IT problem. DanceOne wanted to launch a loyalty program across every location, but that required knowing who their customers actually were — one unified identity, not three. Manual spreadsheets weren't going to cut it with 400K+ customer records scattered across platforms.

They evaluated Salesforce to solve the integration problem. Salesforce couldn't do it.

The Solution

We built a unified data warehouse on Snowflake that brought all 12 systems together into a single source of truth. The core of the work was an identity resolution engine that mapped three separate ID systems — Stackless ID, Dance Bug ID, and Dance 360 ID — into one canonical customer record.

  • Real-time API integrations for loyalty voucher redemptions at the point of sale
  • Loyalty tier management (Bronze, Silver, Gold) with automated calculations based on transaction history
  • Klaviyo integration for personalized marketing campaigns powered by unified customer profiles
  • Operational dashboards for studio-level reporting across every location
